Warren Haynes has announced an independent appearance. The frontman of Gov’t Mule shared that he will turn up at The Clubhouse in East Hampton, N.Y., on Friday, August 25. The newly dropped date represents Haynes’ lone solo show on the books for 2023.
Along with a post shared via social media, Haynes offered: “Solo shows are special to me, and I believe to the fans as well, because it allows me to explore my catalog in different and unique ways. I try to play at least a few each year.”
He concluded his statement, adding, “With all my other touring for the remainder of the year, I’m only able to do this one solo show in East Hampton, N.Y., at The Clubhouse on August 25th. Since this will be my only solo show for 2023, I’m going to make it count!”
The solo appearance will arrive after Haynes and his Gov’t Mule ensemble participate in select festival slots and summer concerts spread across the eastern seaboard over July and August. The aforementioned shows will come before the band’s fall ascent across the pond. For more information on tour dates, visit mule.net.
