Los Lonely Boys took the stage last night in Fort Worth at Billy Bob’s to kick off a series of summer dates that will extend through mid-August. To mark the occasion, the band, which features the Garza brothers: Henry (guitar, vocals), Jojo (bass guitar, vocals) and Ringo (drums, vocals), shared a new single. “Send More Love” is the group’s first original song to be released in a decade. The tune reflects on the state of the globe today and calls for empathy. “The world’s gone crazy, and we had to sort through it,” Henry Garza offers. “And, Rome wasn’t built in a day.” Henry’s son Nico contributes the guitar solo.

This also marks the 20th anniversary of Los Lonely Boys’ self-titled debut, which featured their acclaimed single “Heaven.” Henry notes, “To me, this new song evokes a lot of those same feelings ‘Heaven’ had in a lot of ways; positivity through the struggles that life dishes out and remaining steadfast on our respective journeys to find happiness. In the end, it’s an upbeat track with a youthful spirit and a fun vibe.”

Los Lonely Boys tour will resume on July 1, with Thee Sinseers and The Altons appearing on many of the shows.
