Connecticut-based rock quintet Goose have shared the details for their highly anticipated 10th annual Goosemas holiday celebration. The event will take place on Dec. 8 and 9 at the renowned Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Va., serving as their final shows of 2023 and closing out yet another incredible year for the band.

The anticipation surrounding Goosemas is palpable as the band reflects on its humble beginnings. “Goosemas started as a small holiday party with our friends in Connecticut 10 years ago, so it’s wild to bring it to this epic coliseum,” said Rick Mitarotonda. “Hampton is a very special place to me; I’ve only been there once before, but it was a very meaningful and impactful experience. I’m very grateful we have the opportunity to play there this year.”

The performance will mark the group’s first time performing at the iconic coliseum and the second time the band have left their home state of Connecticut to spread their holiday cheer following 2022’s Goosemas in Colorado.

“Goosemas is always one of my favorite shows of the year,” added Peter Anspach. “I love how everyone gets into the spirit with us, and this year it will be extra special coinciding with our first show at the legendary Hampton Coliseum.”

As the year carries on, Goose continues to dazzle audiences with their dynamic live performances, and their current summer headline tour is no exception. The band is captivating fans with sold-out shows and top-billed festival appearances across America. Their jam-packed schedule includes exciting stops on the horizon such as the Louisville Palace Theatre in Louisville, Ky., for a two-night run on June 22-23, the Fox Theater in Oakland, Calif., later on Sept. 5-26, along with a run the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., on Oct. 5-6.

Additionally, fans can catch Goose at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, N.J. for a sold-out Independence Day celebration on July 3-4. The band is set to headline various festivals throughout the summer, including the Electric Forest in Rothbury, Mich. on June 25, the Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pa., on June 29, and the Levitate Music and Arts Festival in Marshfield, Mass., on July 8, among others.

Following their summer tour, Goose will embark on an eagerly awaited headline tour in Europe and the U.K., starting on Nov. 3 at Le Trabendo in Paris, France. The tour will span several cities, including Cologne, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Brussels, Glasgow, Manchester, and Bristol, culminating with a two-night stand at London’s Electric Ballroom on Nov. 19 and 20.

With their milestone 10th annual Goosemas celebration as the culmination of their performances over the year, fans can expect an unforgettable experience at the Hampton Coliseum, capping off 2023 with a bang.

Goose is committed to supporting mental health in the music industry, and they will be donating $1 from each tour ticket to Backline, a nonprofit organization that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources.
