On Sunday, May 7, Taylor Swift closed out a three-night stand at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Despite an hours-long weather delay, the popstar kept the energy high for her final night in the Music City. Most notably, Swift welcomed The National’s Aaron Dressner and singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers– who also performed as an opener earlier that evening–to the stage for unannounced sit-ins.

Swift kicked off the night with an expansive solo performance; dishing out iconic tracks from every era of her music career. She got things moving with a handful of songs from her 2019 LP Lover, followed by material from Fearless (2008), evermore (2020), reputation (2017) and Speak Now, (2010) Red (2012), folklore (2020), 1989 (2014) and Midnights (2022).

Bridgers joined Swift onstage halfway through the Red set– following an abridged rendition of Swift’s radio hit “I Knew You Were Trouble.” After Swift reintroduced Bridgers to the crowd, the artists dove into their 2021 collaboration, “Nothing New,” off of Swift’s 2021 re-release, Red (Taylor’s Version).

Dressner took the spotlight later in the night, during a mini set of surprise acoustic tracks which arrived between Swift’s 1989 and Midnight’s frames. Dessner–who co-produced the popstar’s past three albumsoffered licks on his guitar during a live debut of the 2022 released “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve.” Swift followed their duet with a second tour first– busting out her 2010 release “Mine” with minimal piano accompaniment.
