On Friday, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour rolled into Nashville’s Nissan Stadium for a hometown show. Phoebe Bridgers served as one of the night’s opening act, as she has throughout this leg of the stadium jaunt, and surprised the audience by bringing out Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus for an unannounced appearance by their supergroup boygenius. Near the end of Bridgers’ set, the two musicians emerged for “Not Strong Enough,” a track from boygenius’ new set, The Record. Then, the singers remained onstage for Bridgers’ originals “Graceland Too” and “I Know the End.”
The surprises continued during Swfit’s headlining performance when Bridgers emerged to help her debut “Nothing New” from her re-recorded version of 2012’s Red. (Bridgers appears on the studio version of the new LP.) Swift also announced that her next re-recorded album, Speak Now, will be released in July.
