Phil Lesh & Friends have canceled their stand, which was scheduled to occur at the Bay Area venue known as the Frost Amphitheatre in Stanford, Calif. The aforementioned performance was supposed to take place on May 5, but it will no longer happen due to unforeseen circumstances.

The news arrived via the bandleader’s social media, where Lesh shared: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Phil Lesh & Friends show on May 5, 2023, at Frost Amphitheater has been canceled. Tickets will be refunded automatically at the original point of purchase. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.”

The Grateful Dead bassist concluded his statement and added, “We’re sad to miss you all in Palo Alto next month, but we will see you back in the Bay Area soon!” Lesh is currently scheduled to perform this weekend at Skull & Roses in Venture, Calif.

With the Frost Amphitheater stand off the docket, Lesh and his collaborators will take a significant portion of the spring and summer away from the stage before picking up a slot on July 20 at the Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue, N.Y.
