Vulfpeck have shared the music video for “Serve Somebody,” their adaptation of Bob Dylan’s 1979 favored cut, “Gotta Serve Somebody,” which appears on their recently dropped sixth studio album, Schvitz. The new clip is available to view on YouTube. Watch now.
Taking on the iconic lyrics is vocalist Antwaun Stanley who breathes new life into the opening track from Dylan’s Slow Train Coming album. The video presents a funky display that embraces the sauna setting of their latest set as the ensemble returns to the wood-paneled steam room once again and cuts into a groove.
Schvitz is the band’s first new album since 2020’s The Joy of Music, the Job of Real Estate. The new collection connects to themes initially showcased during the group’s summer performance at Levitate Music Festival in Marshfield, Mass., when they first appeared clad in white ropes and red caps.
