On Oct. 3, a fundraising event dubbed We Do Not Go Quietly is slated to take place at Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Baby’s All Right live music venue. The impending evening will benefit the New York Abortion Access Fund and features performances by an onslaught of talented artists.
Billed to take the stage on Monday night are musicians Olivia Reid, Marcela Avelina, 95 Bulls, The Champagne Taste and The Champagne Taste (the secret headliner) who have all signed on to perform. The event – which is presented by Women That Rock, Anger Can Be Power and Jocelyn Simone – will also include a set by DJ Cabrea.
According to their official website, “New York Abortion Access Fund supports anyone who is unable to pay fully for an abortion and is living in or traveling to New York State by providing financial assistance and connections to other resources.”
