Yesterday (April 18), Widespread Panic announced a three-night run at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Washing, D.C. from September 16-18. The announcement came on the same day as the 24th anniversary of their historic Panic In The Streets CD release party in Athens, Ga., which saw over 100,000 people.
Earlier this month the band announced they’ll descend upon the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo. on June 24, 25 and 26, which be followed by their residency at the Beacon Theatre in New York on July 21 through 25. Additionally, Widespread Panic are set to perform at the Fox in Atlanta in August and the newly erected Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, Ala. before their Red Rocks run on May 27 through 29.
