Vermont-based jam-quartet RAQ have announced a two-night stand at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Mass. The upcoming gigs will take place on August 26 and 27.
Having only performed infrequently in recent years, the forthcoming summer dates will mark a highly anticipated return to the stage for the band, which formed in Burlington, Vt. in 2000.
RAQ has released three albums, including 2006’s Ton These, taped at Trey Anastasio’s fabled recording studio, The Barn, located just outside of the band’s native town.
Before releasing their last LP, RAQ performed at big-name North American music festivals like Bonnaroo and the High Sierra Music Festival. Their latest dates serve as an exciting comeback to the live music scene for the Northeastern jamband.
Tickets for RAQ’s shows on August 26 and 27 are on sale now.
