Old Crow Medicine Show have shared a new single, “Honey Chile,” from their upcoming album Paint This Town due to release April 22, 2022. The track is the third release thus far off the upcoming album, following the title track and “Bombs Away.” Along with the release of the single, the band an accompanying music video and announced 27 upcoming US tour dates for this spring and summer.

Frontman Ketch Secor spoke on the song in a press release: “When you mine the musical traditions of the South as we have you’re always going to run head on into the region’s most successful export: Southern Rock, and my favorite performers of this style are the Charlie Daniels Band, who Old Crow was lucky enough to open for back in the early 2000s. We’ll miss Charlie around these parts, but he lives on in songs like ‘Honey Chile,’ a backwoods slow burn about good lovin’ and other hard habits to break.”

Old Crow Medicine Show’s extensive spring/summer tour will span the continental US starting at the end of March in Kentucky, then roll through the south in April, the East Coast in May, back down south for June and out west for July before finally wrapping up at FloydFest in Virginia on July 21 – July 25.
