Experimental pop band Animal Collective have shared a fresh batch of dates for their upcoming tour in support of their latest album, Time Skiffs.
The new dates will run through May and into early June and see the band making stops at notable settings, including Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre and Salt Lake City’s Kilby Court Block Party. Animal Collective will also make stops in major American cities like Portland, Denver, Austin and San Francisco.
The 17 new shows follow 16 previously announced US tour stops and 16 performances set for the UK and Europe. The band will kick off the US portion of their tour on March 8 in Richmond, Va. and traverse the continental United States until Seattle’s Day In Day Out Fest on Aug. 12-14; the shows in the UK and Europe will kick off in November.
Additionally, Animal Collective have announced that they’ve partnered with PLUS1, which will direct $1 from each ticket to organizations advancing justice, equity and dignity, including Server Your City DC and the National Harm Reduction Coalition.
Tickets for the added May and June dates will be available for pre-sale Thursday, March 3 and available to the general public Friday, March 4.
