The 12th annual Rooster Walk Music & Arts Festival is returning to Pop’s Farm in Martinsville, Va., on May 26 through 29, 2022. Today, a press release revealed some of the performers set to hit the stage this spring.

Legendary rock group Little Feat will perform their 1977 LP Waiting for Columbus in its entirety during their performance at the festival. Fans will also be treated to New Orleans blues from Tab Benoit and some party anthems from Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Sammy Rae & The Friends, who are all set to take the stage.

Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, roots-rock band Yarn, neotraditional country group Mike & The Moonpies, bluegrass mountain quartet The Wooks, Sol Driven Train, Crawford & Power and Pirates of the Piedmont have all signed on for two sets for this year’s iteration of the festival.

Mountain Heart will host “The Jimmy Jam,” a collaborative jam set with 1960s-era-throwback-rockers The Nude Party, who will be making their Rooster Walk debut.

“We’re so excited to announce such a great group of artists to the Rooster Walk 12 lineup,” co-founder Johnny Buck said following the cancelation of the 2019 and 2020 festivals. “We’re also thrilled to simply be getting back to normal and hosting the full festival over Memorial Day weekend once again.”

In addition to four days of music, Rooster Walk will also offer a variety of family-friendly activities, craft beer, quality food, arts, and ample opportunity to enjoy Virginia’s great outdoors.

Tickets for Rooster Walk 12 go on sale on Tues. Nov 23.
