The Fugees have announced that they will be going on tour in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their album The Score. The tour marks the first time Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel will perform live together in 15 years.
Ahead of the tour, the hip-hop group will play a New York City pop-up show on Sept. 22 in support of Global Citizen Live, and you can get tickets here. The location for the event remains undisclosed but will be filmed and air on Sept. 25.
In a press release, Ms. Lauryn Hill said, “The Fugees have a complex but impactful history. I wasn’t even aware the 25th anniversary had arrived until someone brought it to my attention. I decided to honor this significant project, its anniversary, and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation for the world.”
They will kick off their world tour in Chicago at the United Center on Nov. 2, they’ll then continue to travel to cities in the United States, The U.K., Europe, and Africa. The tour will come to a close at a venue in Ghana that has yet to be confirmed.
Wyclef Jean added, “As I celebrate 25 years with the Fugees, my first memory was that we vowed, from the gate, we would not just do music we would be a movement. We would be a voice for the un-heard, and in these challenging times, I am grateful once again, that God has brought us together.”
Tickets for the shows will go on sale on September 24 at 10 a.m. EST through Live Nation.

September 22, 2021 at 8:17 amIf all you got from that album was a “Roberta flack rip off”, then please, please clean out your ears and open your mind

September 21, 2021 at 2:04 pmYour comment makes no sense. Roberta loves their version and has shared a stage with them. 25 years later and still a great and relevant album. Their music so why can’t they make some money off it? I’m sure it’ll be a sold out tour.

September 22, 2021 at 12:16 pmIf you think this tour is going to sell out at $1000 per ticket ( and that is NOT counting plats or meet and greets ) then you are the biggest moron going. Tour will be cancelled.
