Pixies are the latest band to cancel a batch of 2021 shows due to the surging Delta variant.

“Pixies have determined that with the current surge in COVID cases made worse by the Delta variant, this is the right decision for their fans, crew members and themselves, and ask that their fans stay safe and healthy.”

The outing was set to kick off on Sept. 10 at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY (marking the first Cap concert attended by an audience since the pandemic).

Other highlights include a headlining spot at Chicago’s Riot Fest on Sept. 19 and two nights with Nine Inch Nails in Cleveland (Sept. 21 and 23).

Stay up to date via the band’s official website. Fans can get refunds via point of purchase.
