Brandi Carlile celebrated her headlining gig at The Gorge on Aug. 14, and did so with the help of some Pacific Northwest royalty, Soundgarden.

“Welcome back to The Gorge, my friends, Soundgarden,” Carlile said before welcoming the band to play on the classic “Black Hole Sun.”

From there, the Washington alliance continued on with the Badmotorfinger cut “Searching With My Good Eye Closed.”

“Just walking out on stage at the venue where I saw every important and dream-building concert from my childhood until now,” Carlile wrote alongside a clip, after the performance. “I will never forget this show.”

Carlile is also the current cover star of Relix, leading its July/August 2021 issue.
