After enacting some new COVID rules, Widespread Panic had a successful weekend in Asheville, NC, performing three shows from Aug. 6-8 at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center.

The Sunday show especially had fans talking, with the band reviving beloved covers of “Dear Mr. Fantasy” (LTP 8/04/19, show gap: 35) and “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” (LTP: 3/31/19, show gap: 50).

Other highlights from WSP’s Aug. 8 stop in Asheville included a “Coconut” opener, a set one “Climb To Safety” and a “Surprise Valley”> “Maggot Brain”> “I’m So Glad”> “Surprise Valley” sandwich in the second half.
