A previously unreleased recording of “Isn’t It a Pity” by George Harrison has been released ahead of the 50th anniversary of his album All Things Must Pass. Harrison demoed 30 of his tracks at the legendary Studio Three at EMI Studios Abbey Road, in London, on May 26 and 27, 1970–two days before the album’s recording sessions which took place over six weeks.

The track titled “Isn’t it a Pity (Take 27)” comes accompanied by a video that was directed by Jonny Kofoed and Alan Bibby and animated by Gary Sullivan, Frankie Principe, Craig Speakman, Geoff Kirk-Smith, Matt Wilson and Elliot Stronge.

The deluxe re-release of All Things Must Pass which was executively produced by Harrison’s son Dhani Harrison will feature an array of other previously unreleased studio demos and outtakes and release Aug. 6. Pre-order now.
