James Blake has announced a new album, titled Friends That Break Your Heart, which will release Sept. 10. The 12-track album is the British producer/singer-songwriters’ first full-length album release since 2018’s Assume Form.

Along with the announcement of Friends That Break Your Heart Blake also released a single titled “Say What You Will,” which is accompanied by a video staring musician Finneas.

“The song is about finding peace with who you are and where you’re at regardless of how well other people seem to be doing,” Blake said of the song in a statement. “Comparison really is the thief of joy.”

Finneas is not the only artist involved in the upcoming album; JID, SwaVay, SZA and Monica Martin are featured on the LP, as well.

Blake’s tour for the album will commence on Sept. 16 at the Observatory North Park in San Deigo, and carry on through Oct. 16 where it will close at Tabernacle in Atlanta.
