Americana titan Brandi Carlile has announced a new album – In These Silent Days – out Oct. 1.

This new release will be the follow-up to Carlile’s Grammy-winning By The Way, I Forgive You, which gained commercial and critical acclaim for its anthemic hit “The Joke.”

Between her namesake records Carlile has spent her time growing her supergroup The Highwomen, with Maren Morris, Amanda Shires and Natalie Hemby. (That group won a Grammy in 2020 for their single “Crowded Table.”) She’s also relaunched her Girls Just Wanna Weekend destination event.

In These Silent Days was recorded mid-pandemic with many of the same personnel as By The Way, I Forgive You including Shooter Jennings, Dave Cobb, and bandmates Tim Hanseroth and Phil Hanseroth.
