Modest Mouse have unveiled an extensive set of U.S. tour dates for this coming summer and fall. Earlier this month, the band announced a new album, The Golden Casket. Along with the tour announcement comes a new single from the record, titled “Leave a Light On.”

The tour will kick off with Modest Mouse’s set at the Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago. Other highlights of the summer portion of the tour include an Aug. 5 date at The Met Philadelphia, two nights at Brooklyn Steel on Aug. 11 and 12, and a show at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Ore.

In the fall, the band’s run will include a date at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colo. on Sept. 28, a set at Austin City Limits in October and a tour-closing performance at Rabbit Rabbit in Asheville, N.C. Select shows on the tour will feature support from Future Islands (see below for which dates).

The Golden Casket will be Modest Mouse’s first project sicne 2015’s Strangers To Ourselves, and the band has already given fans a taste of their new sound with lead single “We Are Between.” The newest release, “Leave a Light On,” is available here.
