Phish are announcing a new line of vinyl releases, dubbed LP on LP or “Live Phish on Long Play.”
According to the band, it is “a new and ongoing vinyl-only series that will feature some of the finest hand-picked Live Phish tracks.”
The first two releases in the series will chronicle the 38-minute “Ruby Waves” from Phish’s final show of Summer Tour 2019 as well as the “Waves” from “Phish’s technical rehearsal the night before Summer Tour 2011 began at Bethel Woods” promising “a profound improvisation experienced live by only the band and crew.”
The band is also releasing special posters corresponding to each LP, designed by artist Drew Millward.
To pre-order click here – the LPs are set to ship around mid-June.
