The Hinterland Music Festival Announces its return in 2021 on August 6-8. Tickets and camping passes will go on sale on Friday, March 19. The festival will take place at the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater in St. Charles, Iowa.
Many acts from the festival’s 2020 lineup are scheduled to return this year including Leon Bridges, Tyler Childers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Khruangbin and Yola. Some new additions were added to the list as well; Friday’s headliner will now be The Avett Brothers. Caamp, Black Pumas, The Marcus King Band, and Elle King will be joining the lineup as well.
The festival has been reorganized to accommodate social distancing restrictions. This includes reduced attendance, mask mandates, and advance check-in opportunities.
For those not ready to attend a show in person just yet, you will be able to watch the festival from your own couch! A live streaming option will be available and will go on sale at a later date.
