Thurston Moore surprised fans this week with a brand new album dubbed screen time.

However, don’t expect new lyrical output from the Sonic Youth co-founder – the new, 10-track release exclusively offers minimalist, instrumental post-rock tunes. And the cryptic tunes bear names like “the station,” “the town,” “the home” and “the view.”

Despite the pandemic, Moore has clearly been busy, having dropped another LP By the Fire just six months ago.
