Last week, John Mayer performed a solo acoustic set as part of Martin Guitar’s ‘Jam In Place’ series.
The set was a part of the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM)’s Believe In Music Week, which ran from Jan. 18 to Jan. 22. The event took place instead of the organization’s usual in-person trade show. Jason Isbell, Del McCoury, Devon Gilfillian and more also performed as part of the event.
Mayer’s short set kicked off with “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” from his 2006 record Continuum. He then performed “Dear Marie” from 2013’s Paradise Valley before closing the set with two songs from his 2009 album Battle Studies: “Who Says” and “Edge of Desire.”
