After announcing Dec. 9/10 livestreams at Pennsylvania’s Ardmore Music Hall, jamtronica quartet Dopapod have puled the plug on the run, citing travel restrictions and COVID-19 concerns.
“After many conversations, we (Dopapod) have decided to postpone our December streams at Ardmore Music Hall, in light of recent travel restrictions put in place in Philly,” the band wrote in an official statement. “We have been vigorously trying to schedule Dopapod shows throughout the pandemic, and each attempt has found us up against travel restrictions which impact us greatly as a band with members who live in various states. It is imperative that we do out part to keep the band, attending audience, and venue staff safe.”
Dopapod also notes that they will play the show “as soon as we’re safely allowed.”
