AC/DC have shared a new single, “Realize,” leading up to the release of their new album, POWER UP, on Nov. 13.

The new record features a reunion of AC/DC’s classic (surviving) lineup: vocalist Brian Johnson, guitarist Angus Young, bassist Cliff Williams, and drummer Phil Rudd–for the first time since Black Ice (2008).

Back in 2015, drummer Phil Rudd departed from the band due to legal issues. Then in 2016, frontman Brian Johnson was advised by doctors to stop touring immediately due to hearing issues. The band later resumed their tour with Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses filling in on lead vocals.

Later that same year, bassist Cliff Williams decided to leave the band. “It’s time for me to step out. That’s all… I’m just ready to get off the road” he said in an official video announcement.

In addition, guitarist and founding member (and Angus’ brother) Malcom Young passed away in 2017. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, guitarist Angus Young said: “This record is pretty much a dedication to Malcolm, my brother… It’s a tribute for him like ‘Back in Black’ was a tribute to Bon Scott.”
