Psych-rock outfit Tame Impala – aka Kevin Parker – has a brand new music video for “Why Won’t They Talk To Me?” highlighting the idea that Parker is one-man-band, playing every instrument of the layered production.

It’s a concept the Aussie rocker discussed in its early stages with Relix, explaining, “That’s the golden scenario, when it’s just me and I’m in a room full of versions of myself. Someone is dancing around the studio, someone is the studied producer, someone is the zonked-out vocalist in the corner thinking of the melody. I’ve always thought about doing a film clip where it’s just me playing all the instruments, but I’ve never been able to stomach the self-indulgence.”
