David Byrne has extended his Who Is the Sky? Tour with a new slate of tour dates. Bryne’s 10 new performances will take place in August and September, bringing his high-concept live show to venues in Asia and North America after a long stint on Europe’s summer festival circuit.

After closing out his summer run in late July, Byrne’s tour will pick up again with a new booking at Singapore’s Star Theatre on Aug. 7. The icon and his band will move through a stop in Bangkok before appearing at Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival in Tokyo and Osaka on Aug. 15 and 16, then close out the leg with an engagement at Seoul’s Kyunghee University Peace Hall on Aug. 21.

Byrne will touch down in the United States again on Aug. 27 for a night at San Diego, Calif.’s Cal Coast Union Open Air Theatre. After two nights at Los Angeles’ famed Hollywood Bowl on Aug. 28 and 29, he’ll hop to Saratoga, N.Y.’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Sept. 17, and wrap up the season at last with a return to his longtime home of New York City and a set at Queens, N.Y.’s Forest Hills Stadium on Sept. 19.

Bryne’s Who Is the Sky? Tour has welcomed his ninth solo studio album into the world with a traveling celebration since its release last September. In concert, fans can expect a dazzling, color-coordinated program that bridges his legacy into his new chapter with innovative treatments of his new material, Talking Heads favorites and older solo originals backed by his 13-member ensemble of musicians, singers and dancers.
