Tonight, Sept. 23, FANS will air Little Feat’s Sept. 15, 2013 performance at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. During the broadcast, FANS will air an exclusive interview with Little Feat co-founder and pianist Bill Payne, conducted by Relix Editor-in-Chief Dean Budnick. The interview will only be available to watch by tuning in to the broadcast.

The show is presented with a pay-what-you-want ticket policy, beginning at $10. According to FANS, “a portion of the funds raised will go to the Rex Foundation’s newly established Rex Roadie Fund powered by Sweet Relief, helping crew members. tour managers, stage managers, and all production crew who work behind the scenes. Contributions to this Fund will help pay for such things as medical expenses, housing, food and vital living expenses such as utilities, clothing, transportation, program services and counseling.”

The show sees Little Feat performing both classic cuts as well as newer material from their 2012 record Rooster Rag, which contains four songs co-written by Payne and Robert Hunter.
