The Dixie Chicks are the latest band to change their name in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. The band has rebranded themselves “The Chicks,” dropping the word “Dixie” from their name, as the word is associated with the Confederate South.
“We want to meet this moment,” read the front page of The Chicks website, which now is thechicks.com. Lady Antebellum made a similar choice recently, changing their name to Lady A.
The band also released a new single today, titled “March March,” along with a video. “‘If your voice held no power, they wouldn’t try to silence you.’ – unknown. Use your VOICE. Use your VOTE,” wrote the band in the video’s description.
Watch “March March” below.

June 26, 2020 at 9:39 pmOMG the leftist just never stop with this Bull $hit! Oh and BLM is a Marxist group. If they cared bout Black lives they would do something about Black on Black murder in liberal run cities and protest planned parenthood the was founded by a racist to kill black babies. All Lives matter. Even Libtards.

June 26, 2020 at 12:30 pmHow stupid. Chicks is worse. And who cares. There’s a New Zealand band named this, I hear. They might have to change their name again
uh huh
June 26, 2020 at 11:47 amSilly, the name was just as offensive and dated the day before George Floyd died.
I think if we are looking to celebrities and entertainers for moral direction, we’re already toast.

June 26, 2020 at 5:31 amWait, I was told by the “Super Woke Thought Police” that the word “chick” was sexist and misogynistic. How can these three possibly non-binary humanoid earth-dwellers refer to themselves by such a violent word clearly forced on them by an evil white male patriarchy? I’m shocked!

June 25, 2020 at 6:02 pmEnough with the virtue signalling. I’ll ask The Chicks as I asked about Warren, who do you bank with? Is it black owned? If not, you’re racist and part of the problem. Who are the owners of their record labels? Promoters? Caterers? Where do they go to church? Bet it’s White.
Don’t want to hear they have black friends, or once had a black performer on stage, I’m asking why are they doing business with majority white owned business. Name one single black Nashville based promoter that the Chicks have used! Again bands like The Chicks have had their knees on the back of the black man longer than 8 minutes.
