According to a report by Bloomberg, the organizers of Coachella are asking 2020 performers to reschedule to 2021, which is “the clearest sign yet that this year’s show will be canceled.” (Quote via Bloomberg report.)

Coachella was originally set for the weekends of April 10-12 and 17-19, and headliners included Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean. It is widely considered one of the largest and most influential music festivals in America, drawing more than 250,000 people over two weekends. It was then rescheduled to now the weekends of Oct. 9-11 and Oct. 16-18.

According to the Bloomberg report, “Coachella is the largest music festival in the U.S., generating as much as $100 million in sales for promoter Goldenvoice and its parent AEG.” The festival did not respond for comment when asked by the Bloomberg reporters.
