On May 22, the Grateful Dead aired their Apr. 21, 1972 performance at West Germany’s The Beat Club for their Shakedown Stream broadcast series. The show was a part of the band’s famed Europe ’72 tour.
Audio from this Dead show had not been heard until it was released on the 2011 box set Europe ’72: The Complete Recordings. Later, the band premiered the video at the fourth Meet Up At The Movies event, which occurred in July of 2014. The video is now available to replay on YouTube.
The show kicks off with “Bertha” and closes with a powerful one-two punch of “Truckin'” and “The Other One.” It also contains two performances of “Playing in the Band,” both featuring the newly-added Donna Jean Godchaux. Check out the full video and complete setlist below!

BDS= Boycott, Divest, Sanction Israel, that evil, racist country of cunts illegally occupying millions of Palestinians struggling to gain *basic human rights*
