On May 29 at 6 p.m. ET, Massachusetts-native Dropkick Murphys will deliver a full electric performance at an empty Fenway Park in Boston, dubbed ‘Streaming Outta Fenway.’ The show will be livestreamed for free, and the band will be joined by special remote guest Bruce Springsteen.
Springsteen’s guest is billed as a “Double Play,” where The Boss will play one of his songs and a song by Dropkick Murphys.
The livestream has a charity element; the band has set up a text-to-donate campaign to support Greater Boston Habitat For Humanity, Boston Resiliency Fund and Feeding America.
The Celtic-punk band previously aired Streaming Up From Boston, a St. Patrick’s day livestreamed concert. Watch that full performance below.
To tune in, head to the Dropkick Murphys’ Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Twitch pages.

May 20, 2020 at 1:09 pmHow about a concert where we can anchor our boats and listen out on the water? Biscayne Bay? Other places with good access. Social distancing not a problem and it’s not virtual!!! We can actually be there. This is nothing new and it works in this circumstances.

Let’s do some “Drive in Movie Tour” live shows.
Band plays live elsewhere and we ROCK during the simulcast in the fresh air.

May 19, 2020 at 9:50 pmReally? Is this the new normal? Concerts at Empty venues with virtual guests. Ridiculous! Folks please get more creative. This is just dumb. Write some new music, paint something beautiful, teach us something with your talents. Get real and/or keep it real. We can wait. Peace
