While their offices remain closed, NPR continues to release a backlog of taped Tiny Desk concerts.

Today, they’re looking back on Jon Batiste’s Nov. 8, 2019 performance including cuts like “Cry,” “Coltrane,” “Tell The Truth,” and “I Need You.”

“It’s the first time we’re ever playing these songs, and it’s the first time we’re playing together,” Batiste explains of the jazzy compositions and his newly assembled backing band.
