Greensky Bluegrass has postponed their upcoming Florida shows. The band was slated to perform on March 18 at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Fla. and March 19 at Revolution Live in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

“Our upcoming shows at Jannus Live and Revolution Live have been postponed in accordance with CDC and WHO advisories against large gatherings,” Greensky said in a statement. “Although we’d love to play the shows, the safety of our community, band and crew are of the upmost importance.

“All tickets will be refunded and we hope to reschedule the shows for a later date,” the statement continued. “Thanks for your support and understanding during these tough and frustrating times. Stay safe and healthy and we hope to create music for you again soon.”

The band also hinted at playing some music for fans “from [their] homes.”

Paul Hoffman of Greensky Bluegrass shared a note on the cancellations, in which he hinted at these in-home performances; read it in full below:

Gathering people brings us such joy. especially when times are troubled or hearts are weary. our music elevates us as well as you, and we are sad to stow it away for awhile. Still, we are honored to work in an industry that prioritizes the health of the fans, the local crew and the artists. And so, to our couches to write, we retreat. From our homes we will play music for you soon. Stay tuned. We send our best to you all. let your imagination’s dream free while you take in some slower quiet days at home.
