The New Deal has announced that they are cancelling their upcoming shows in Roanoke, Charlotte and Ashville.

“It is with a heavy heart that TND3 announces the cancellation of shows slated for next week in Roanoke, Charlotte and Asheville,” the band wrote in a statement on Facebook. “It’s obviously not something that we planned for but as the events of the past few days unfolded we made two decisions: The first was that we wouldn’t be able to come down from Canada and play these shows.”

“The second decision was that nothing can stop TND from making music,” the band wrote.

In that vein, they have announced a ‘Solitude’ livestream series. The New Deal will perform two full live shows which will be livestreamed via Nugs.net. The dates have not yet been set.

“We feel that we owe it to everyone who has stood together with TND and also to everyone who is just beginning to experience the joyous energy that is TND3,” keyboardist Jamie Shields said in a statement. “We wouldn’t be happy if we didn’t do our best to share music with our fans the only way we know how – the New Deal Way.”
