After the wildly successful Us + Them tour, Roger Waters will present a completely new stage show this summer, dubbed This Is Not A Drill.

Waters will be in the center of the action for the This Is Not A Drill tour, with the bassist performing in the round in arenas across North America, including Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center (July 10), Boston’s TD Garden (July 28), New York’s Madison Square Garden (Aug. 5), Chicago’s United Center (Aug. 27) and a closing show at Dallas’ American Airlines Arena (Oct. 3).

In a 2019 interview with Rolling Stone, Waters teased the outing as a “no-holds-barred” event, adding, “It will be even more political than Us + Them was — political and humane… We were talking about, what should we call it? I shouldn’t be giving this away, but I don’t give a shit because it will probably all change, but imagine the iconic helicopter that normally comes before “Happiest Days” and “Brick 2” — that noise that we all know and love — and imagine a megaphone… “This is not a drill.” I thought that could be a good title for the show: This Is Not a Drill. The ruling class is killing us.”

Tickets for Roger Waters’ This Is Not A Drill will go on sale Friday, Jan. 31.
