Conscious Alliance, a Boulder, Colo.-based nonprofit, has announced that they have reached an impressive milestone: the organization has served one million meals to families in need.

The charity often partners with bands such as The String Cheese Incident and Widespread Panic, as well as festivals like Electric Forest and The Wanee Festival. These partnerships have had a palpable impact on Conscious Alliance’s reach.

“When you combine the power of artists and companies who really care about decreasing hunger in this country, with the power of our Conscious Alliance programs and volunteers, you hit one million meals,” explains Justin Levy, the organization’s executive director (via press release). “I’m so completely stoked and thankful.”

Conscious Alliance is in the midst of their final fundraising push for 2019; they are hoping to provide an additional 100,000 meals this winter. To donate and for more information, visit consciousalliance.org.
