Umphrey’s McGee offered a special Halloween show in Washington, DC, on Thursday night, dressing up as policemen for their performance at The Anthem and playing a number of covers of songs from The Police, including several live debuts for the band.

The band opened up the night with The Police’s “Synchronicity II,” the first of six debut Police covers for UM, including “Reggatta de Blanc” in the first set, which also concluded with the group’s first run of Police hit “Message in a Bottle” since August 2010.

Set two kicked off with UM staple “Dump City” before another debut Police cover, “Spirits in the Material World,” followed by a “Draconian” that featured a tease of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train.” The frame also included UM debuts of The Police’s “Can’t Stand Losing You” and “King of Pain.” Umphrey’s then returned to the stage for a two-song encore, beginning with their first live cover of The Police’s “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” and wrapping up with their own “Hajimemashite.”

Check out the full setlist below, along with some video from the night. Umphrey’s McGee continue their fall schedule tonight with the first of two shows at The Fillmore in Philadelphia.
