The highly-anticipated Easy Rider Live will take place on Friday, Sept. 20 at Radio City Music Hall, and organizers have just announced additional members of the live band, including Tash Neal, Nicole Atkins and Holy Model Rounders’ Peter Stampfel.

Easy Rider resonates across generations, so we’re thrilled to add Tash Neal and Nicole Atkins to the mix,” event producer Peter Shapiro said via press release. (Longtime Live Nation promoter Jason Miller is also co-producing.) “It’s also a real honor to welcome another acclaimed original artist in Peter Stampfel.”

The iconic film is set to be shown on the world’s largest LED screen as members of Steppenwolf (John Kay) and The Byrds (Roger McGuinn) perform their tunes in real time, combining “an unparalleled cinematic experience with a live rock band for this a-first-of-its-kind performance.”

The event will simultaneously serve as a 50-year celebration of Easy Rider and a tribute to the film’s star/producer/co-writer Peter Fonda, who passed last month.

“We are all still healing from Peter’s sudden passing, but he would insist that the message of Easy Rider and the culture for which it stands carry on. The celebration of a cinematic masterpiece, a Hollywood icon, and my beloved husband will not only be one of a kind, but exactly what he wanted,” said Fonda’s wife Parky.
