Widespread Panic have announced they will release a couple of new vinyl box sets from their archives, Montreal 1997 and Carbondale 2000, both of which have previously only been available digitally and on CD.
The shows, which the band’s announcement refers to as “two of the most sought-after Widespread Panic live performances,” take from Panic’s Sept. 8, 1997 show at Club Soda in Montreal (six-vinyl set) and their Dec. 1, 2000 gig at Southern Illinois University Arena in Carbondale, IL (five-vinyl set), respectively. The fall release dates for both box sets will be announced soon.
Learn more about the vinyl releases here. Widespread Panic are currently off the road but will return to the stage for a three-night stint in Milwaukee, WI, starting Oct. 25 before they head to New Orleans for a three-night Halloween run. Check out the band’s full schedule here.
