Umphrey’s McGee continued their Florida run on Friday night with a performance at The Fillmore in Miami, and the band fit some choice teases and a mashup that they hadn’t played in years into their setlist.

After a first set that kicked off with “Goonville” and a “Mantis” that featured guitarist Jake Cinninger on keyboards, Umphrey’s returned to the stage for a second frame and opened with their staple rager “Roctopus.” Later, the group dropped a tease of Paul Simon’s “Late in the Evening” into “Night Nurse” before closing the set with “Bittersweet Haj,” a mashup of The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” and UM’s own “Hajimemashite,” marking its first appearance since April 2016. Last night’s show then rounded out with an encore of “The Triple Wide” that ended with a tease of Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven.”
