moe. and Blues Traveler continued their co-headlining All Roads Runaround tour with support from G. Love on Friday evening at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, and the group offered another collaborative set in the middle of the show that featured more choice covers of the Grateful Dead, The Beatles and more.
The set again began with Blues Traveler’s “100 Years” featuring BT’s Ben Wilson and John Popper plus moe.’s Al Schnier and Jim Loughlin, followed by moe.’s “Shoot First” with Wilson, Popper, Schnier, BT’s Chan Kinchla and an additional trio of moe. members, Rob Derhak, Chuck Garvey and Vinnie Amico. As on the opening of the tour earlier this week, the collective also ran through Steely Dan’s “Reelin’ in the Years” (with BT’s Tad Kinchla) and The Rolling Stones’ “Dead Flowers,” along with a couple of new covers, the Grateful Dead’s “Casey Jones” and The Beatles’ “Come Together,” featuring all members of both bands plus a guest spot from G. Love, who faced off in a harmonica solo battle with Popper.
Below, check out the setlist from last night as it appears in our Box Scores section, along with fan-shot video of the final two collaborative covers. The All Roads Runaround tour continues this evening in Baltimore.

July 14, 2019 at 12:12 amQuestion… so is each band playing their own set, then there is a collaboration set? Just a little confused as the setlist reporting seems partial. Not that I expect very much from a Jambands review…. just trying to get an idea of how these shows are set up.
