This fall, Hawaii’s Grove Farm Museum will host the inaugural Kauai Folk Fest, a new, two-day music gathering aimed at showcasing the influence of the island state on American roots music.

Heading up the festival’s lineup are Taj Mahal and Peter Rowan, both of whom will front different full Hawaiian bands—the Hula Blues Band and My Aloha Bluegrass Band, respectively. Also set to play are Tim O’Brien and Jan Fabricus, Jonny Fritz, Blaine Sprouse, Uncle Shuffelo and his Haint Hollow Hootenanny, Mike Bub and more, plus Hawaiian artists like Puka Asing, Sashamon and Uncle Isaac Kamaile Jr., Na’ Opihi and others.

Kauai Folk Fest is slated for Sept. 28 and 29 at Kauai’s Grove Farm. Tickets and more information can be found here.
