Little Feat’s 50th anniversary tour continued this weekend in Beverly Hills, Calif. with a very special sit-in by guitarist Robby Krieger of The Doors.
At the top of the Saban Theater gig, Little Feat offered fan favorite “Time Loves A Hero” and later touched on other high-energy offerings like “Oh Atlanta” and “Spanish Moon.”
The band also played Allen Toussaint’s “Everything I Do Gonna Be Funky” and Hank Williams’ “(I Heard That) Lonesome Whistle,” before welcoming Krieger on “A Apolitical Blues.”
Krieger stepped offstage briefly for “Fatman in the Bathtub,” but returned for a set-closing “Dixie Chicken.”
Little Feat took the stage alone for their “Feats Don’t Fail Me Now” encore.
