New York’s annual BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival series will return to the borough’s Prospect Park this spring and summer, and organizers have announced this year’s lineup of free concerts and benefit concerts.

The free offerings for 2019 kick off June 4 with the annual Opening Night Concert featuring Patti LaBelle, and the schedule also includes shows featuring Calexico and Iron & Wine, Liz Phair, Tortoise, Bomba Estéreo, Salif Keita, Chucho Valdés, Burna Boy, Ibeyi, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, I’m With Her, Tanks & The Bangas, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Caroline Rose, Darlingside and more, plus film screenings and other events.

BRIC’s benefit concerts, which raise money to help fund the free offerings, include performances from The National & Courtney Barnett, Father John Misty & Jason Isbell, and Mac DeMarco.
