This past weekend, Australia’s Byron Bay Bluesfest celebrated its 50th anniversary with another star-studded gathering, featuring music from Jack Johnson, Gary Clark Jr., Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, The Marcus King Band, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Mavis Staples and more, and more, and a few of the festival’s performers joined forces for an old-fashioned blues jam.

As Live For Live Music notes, the collaboration took place during Clark’s set, as the Texas guitarist welcomed out King and Nelson during a rendition of Clark’s “Don’t Owe You a Thang,” with each guitarist showing off his axe prowess throughout the bluesy number.
