On Tuesday night, Bob Weir and his Wolf Bros trio featuring bassist Don Was and drummer Jay Lane brought their fall tour to The Fillmore in Philadelphia and welcomed special guest guitarist and Philly native Tom Hamilton for a few songs in the second set and encore.

After kicking off the night with “Cassidy” and a first set featuring Weir tunes “Gonesville” and “Easy Answers,” a cover of the Bob Dylan-penned “When I Paint My Masterpiece” and a closing run of the Grateful Dead’s “Lost Sailor” into “Saint of Circumstance,” Weir and company welcomed out Hamilton, and the Joe Russo’s Almost Dead/American Babies guitarist helped Wolf Bros open the second set with “Peggy-O” and “Bird Song.” The set also included Dead favorites like “The Music Never Stopped” and “China Cat Sunflower” into “I Know You Rider,” before Hamilton and the trio returned for an encore of “Ripple.”
