The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is typically scheduled over two weekends. However, this year, organizers have scheduled the event to begin a day earlier than usual, kicking off the festivities on Thursday, April 25.
The new date has been dubbed “Locals Thursday,” and offers two discounted, $50 tickets to anyone with a valid Louisiana state ID.
The roster of artists for Jazz Fest is still under wraps, but it is officially scheduled for April 25-28 and May 2-5.
